At Lundberg Funeral Home, we are honored to have earned the trust and confidence placed in us by those that we serve. From the time the first phone call is received, throughout the service and beyond, each staff member at our funeral home contributes in an important way. We are very proud of our staff at the funeral home, and hope that you will take the time to learn more about them below.

Julie Harrigan
Pre-Arrangement Specialist

Julie serves a very important role at Kok Funeral Homes, as Prearrangement Specialist. As a licensed professional with many years of experience, Julie is able to provide a service to families that she truly believes in. She is able to assist in pre-planning the funeral, a way to reflect on one's life before the need, which helps loved ones plan a celebration that is both meaningful and comforting to survivors. Julie states, "It is sometimes difficult for families to discuss the topic of funeral arrangements, however my experience has been that after a pre-planning meeting, people feel a sense of peace, knowing they have taken care of many important decisions." She has been helping families prearrange and pre fund their funerals since 1988.

Julie grew up in the St. Croix Valley and graduated from the College of St. Catherine with degrees in political science and psychology and is married with one child. She enjoys fishing and gardening, as well as knitting. Julie is available to meet with families one-on-one or to present free seminars on the advantages of funeral planning. You may reach Julie at the funeral home.

Glen Novack
Licensed Funeral Director

Glen was born and raised on the shores of Lake Superior, in Superior, Wisconsin. After high school graduation he attended the University of Minnesota-Duluth. While attending UMD, he was approached by family friend and local funeral director about helping around the funeral home while his son was at mortuary school. Working around his school schedule, Glen washed cars, took care of the grounds and eventually he began working visitations and services, becoming more involved in the family business. After working at the funeral home for about eight months, the owner inquired if Glen would be interested in a career in funeral service? Glen showed interest and visited the Worsham College of Mortuary Science, came home and decided to make a career decision.

After finishing up schooling already started at UMD, Glen enrolled at Worsham and graduated with the March of ‘94 class. Family and friends were in shock that he had made this decision and career choice. It wasn’t until years later that he could truly tell them why.

In Glen’s words, “There is no greater feeling in the world than to help grieving families memorialize and pay tribute to their loved ones in their own special ways. Hearing a family say that you helped them through a difficult time and that they appreciate all you have done for them is enough.” This is why Glen made the career decision he did. We as funeral service professionals are not here to take a family’s grief away, but merely help them along the journey of grief.

Glen is also a Certified Funeral Celebrant©, meaning he is trained and certified to meet the needs of families during their time of loss in other ways.  A Funeral Celebrant serves by providing a funeral service, memorial service or tribute that is personalized to reflect the personality and life-style of the deceased after consultation with the family and loved ones and coordination with the funeral home.

Glen is married to wife Jodi and they have two children, Dmitri and Landen. In his spare time he likes to be with his family & friends at their lake cabin in Wisconsin, where they can hunt, fish, swim, ride 4-wheelers & snowmobile or just relax in the quiet of the northwoods.

Glen recently returned from Arizona, working in the warm country for a year, before coming home and joining the staff at Kessler & Maguire Funeral Home. Before moving to Arizona, Glen worked for two years in Hudson, Wisconsin, and the previous 12 years in his home town of Superior, WI.
