She spent countless hours dedicating her time to helping teach girls to be courageous, confident, and to make the world a better place.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years, Fred Schulz; her parents; and her brother Morris Van Guilder.

She is survived by her daughters, Becky Braun (Eric Hedican) and Rene (Steve) Bailey; her son, Rusty (Teresa) Schulz; her brother, Arlie Van Guilder; grandchildren, Rusty Schulz Jr, Elizabeth Schulz, Marcus Schulz, Katie (Jarod) Gengler, Nikki Braun, Susan (Brian) Yates, Sharon Prothe, Melissa (Brook) Westcott, and Jessica McFarland; and many great grandchildren.
