Anna L. Finch, 83 of Cannon Falls formerly of Bald Knob, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday morning, July 5, 2008 at the Angels Care Center in Cannon Falls.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at the Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy. 19 Blvd. with the Reverend Dr. Bradley Berglund, officiating. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cannon Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church.
Anna L. Finch was born February 21, 1925 in Massena, Iowa, the daughter of Albert Nelson and Tena (Croissant) Dewees. She attended Corning High School. She was united in marriage to Gerald Parker Finch on November 9, 1943 in Hugo, Oklahoma. The couple made their home for many years in Council Bluffs, Iowa until moving to Cannon Falls in 1968. Anna was employed as a seamstress for Kid Dud?s in Cannon Falls for many years. Following her retirement she volunteered at the Cannon Manor Nursing Home. In 1995 she moved to Bald Knob, Arkansas and returned to Cannon Falls in 2005.
Anna is survived by her daughter, Susan E. Finch of Cannon Falls, two sons; Donald and his wife, Darlene of Bald Knob, Arkansas and Jerry Lee Finch of Cannon Falls, three grandchildren; Krista, Brett & Tim and four great-grandchildren; Nary, Deja, Jolie & Alexander.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald.
