Beverly Lecy

Beverly "Bev" Jean Lecy, age 84, of Cannon Falls, Minnesota, passed away September 18, 2026.

Bev was born October 20, 1941, in Montevideo, Minnesota, to Jens and Bernice (Nelson) Hardy. She was confirmed at Hawk Creek Lutheran Church and graduated from Sacred Heart High School.

In 1961, Bev and Myron were married, and together, they welcomed their daughter, Jennifer, and sons, Peter and Michael. In 1978, the family relocated to Cannon Falls, where they made their home.

Bev cherished country living and spending time with family and friends, especially her five grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and the companionship of many beloved pets over the years, including horses, dogs, cats, and sheep. Her home was often filled with warmth, hospitality, and something delicious baking in the oven.

Bev was preceded in death by her parents, Jens and Bernice (Nelson) Hardy; her brother, Earl Hardy; brothers-in-law, Morny Elliot and Richard Lecy; and sister-in-law Colleen Lecy. Many will find comfort in knowing that Bev is now at peace and reunited with her parents, who meant so much to her.

Bev is survived by her husband of 65 years, Myron; daughter Jennifer (Scott) Sande; sons Peter (Cindy) Lecy and Michael (Katie) Lecy; grandchildren Jacob (Elle) Lecy, Lauren (John) Kelley, Chris (Claire) Lecy, Thomas Lecy, and Kendra (Charlie) Peters; sister Evie Elliot; brother Roger (Sharon) Hardy; along with many nieces, nephews, and their families.

Bev's steady presence, baked goods, and unconditional love for her family will be remembered always.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 25th, 2026 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 26th at 11:00 am, with visitation one hour prior to the service (10:00 - 11:00 am), at St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church, 7459 MN-19, Cannon Falls, MN. The Memorial Service will be livestreamed and available to watch below. Burial in Cannon Falls Cemetery will follow the service, and then returning to church for a luncheon and fellowship.
