Charles Regenscheid

Charles Alan "Chuck" Regenscheid, age 58 of Cannon Falls, died on Tuesday morning, May 8, 2012 at United Hospital in Saint Paul. Charles was born in Cannon Falls on January 31, 1954, the son of Robert E. and Florence (Meier) Regenscheid. He went to school in rural Cannon Falls and graduated high school. He was united in marriage to Michelle "Shelly" Serres on August 19, 1989 in Red Wing. Charles worked at Cannon Equipment for nearly 30 years. His favorite hobbies were fishing, hunting, camping, riding his motorcycle, gardening and his dogs. He is survived by his wife of over 22 years, Shelly. He was blessed with two daughters, Robin Petschauer of Farmington and Tasha Goodfellow of Apple Valley; one son, Scott Regenscheid (Sandberg) of Cannon Falls; and three grandchildren, Kody and Tommy Petschauer and Austin Sandberg. He is also survived by his mother, Florence (Robert) Pirrung; six siblings, Judy Lundell, Mike (Julie) Regenscheid, Char (Phil) Beebe, Lee Regenscheid, Barb (Ryan) Craig, and Kevin Regenscheid; and many nieces, nephews, and loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; and nephew, Colin Beebe. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 12 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pius V Catholic Church in Cannon Falls, with Father Jay Kythe officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. There will also be visitation at church on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Active pallbearers will be Jason Janssen, Jesse Beebe, Trevor Lundell, Kyle Beebe, Matt Regenscheid and Justin Regenscheid. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Roush and Roger Titel.
