Christopher Peters

Christopher Paul Peters, 63, passed away at home on December 8, 2024, surrounded by family after an arduous battle with cancer.

Chris was born on October 5, 1961, and grew up in St. Paul, MN with nine siblings. He spent his career in logistics management, working for Olson Group for over 30 years. He married his other half, Cheryle, on January 28, 1984, and spent most of their married life raising their five kids in Cannon Falls.

Chris's specialties included tinkering with cars, fixing broken things, being punctual, effortlessly making friends with strangers, entertaining kids, pranking family and friends and offering sarcastic and witty comments.

He was preceded in death by his parents MaryAnn and Joseph, brother Greg and daughter Sophie. He is survived by his children Sadie (Stuart) Johnson, Lily (Zach) Hamann, Dolly (Adric) Bergan, Daisy (Dawson) Lane and Charlie (Kendra) Peters; grandchildren Finley, Elliott, Brooks, Wesley and two additional little ones to be added later this year; siblings Mary Joe (Jim) Stanton, Euey (Patty) Peters, Scott (Peggy) Peters, Patsy Peters, Maureen Peters, Carol (Tim) Stutzke, Tim Peters, Jerry Peters, sister in law Lavonne Peters and numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be held at Randolph Baptist Church in Randolph, Minnesota on January 18, 2024, from 1pm-4pm and the funeral will be held at the same location on January 19, 2024, at 2pm. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, you are welcome to donate to Samaritan's Purse, a Christian organization that was meaningful to Chris.
