Daniel August Rehder

Daniel "Dan" A. Rehder, 67, of Cannon Falls, Minnesota, passed away on August 9, 2026.

Born in Northfield, Minnesota on March 21, 1959, Dan was raised in Cannon Falls and graduated from Cannon Falls High School with the Class of 1977. During his school years, he participated in football and wrestling and developed a lifelong passion for weightlifting.

Dan enjoyed the outdoors and spending time doing the things he loved most. He was an avid NASCAR fan, with Dale Earnhardt Sr. always being his favorite driver, and he also enjoyed dirt track racing, both as a fan and as a driver. Camping, golfing, hunting, and gathering with family were among his favorite pastimes. He never passed up a good steak or an opportunity to share a laugh. Known for his quick wit and playful sense of humor, Dan had a way of making those around him smile.

Above all, Dan's greatest pride was his family. He loved being a father and cherished every moment spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His love for his family was steadfast, and the memories he created with them will be treasured for generations.

Dan is survived by his children, Jenny Rehder (Tyler), Jason (Amanda) Rehder, Haydyn Rehder, and Wyatt Rehder; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; his former wife, Nancy Rehder, the mother of Haydyn and Wyatt; his siblings, Larry (Connie) Rehder, Roberta "Missy" Williams; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luverne and Monica Rehder; his children, Jessica Rehder and Devon Rehder; his brother, Gary Rehder; and Veronica Rehder, the mother of Jenny and Jason.

On behalf of the family of Daniel A. Rehder, they would like to welcome all for the Burial service that will be held on September 12, 2026 at St. Pius V Catholic Cemetery in Cannon Falls, MN from 12:00-1:00 pm. Following the service, a Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00-3:00 pm at Episcopal Guild Hall, 123 North 3rd St, in Cannon Falls.

The family requests that any memorials in Dan's name may be sent to the family, in care of Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls MN 55009. These will then be forwarded to the family.

Dan will be remembered for his generous heart, his sense of humor, his love of racing and the outdoors, and, most of all, his unwavering love for his family. His memory will live on in the lives of those he loved and the countless stories that will continue to be shared in his honor
