David Fox

David George Fox, age 57 of Cannon Falls, died unexpectedly at home on Sunday afternoon, December 15, 2013. David was a miracle baby born late in his parent's lives. He was born on December 29, 1955 in Hampton, MN, the only child to Herbert "Bert" and Esther (Minter) Fox. He grew up in Hastings and married Sue Wallace in 1975. They had two children together, Linda and Jeremy. They later divorced. David drove semi most of his working life and loved his Harleys. He married Carolyn Kline in 1996, and he adopted Nathanial. They lived in Cannon Falls until his passing. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; children, Linda Medes (Matt) of Beaufort, South Carolina; Jeremy (Salena) of Stewartville and Nathanial (Emily) of Red Wing; grandchildren, Faith, Sierra, Denise, Nickolas, Brianna, Andrew, Matthew, Jaymason and Trinity; and his in-laws, Rose and Dave Maus. He was preceded in death by his parents, and many aunts and uncles. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 21 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation from 12-1 p.m., at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. Memorials can be given in his memory to the Cannon Falls Veterans Memorial Fund. Honorary pallbearers will be John Fisher, Rich Freiermuth, Brad Grimes, Nickolas Fox, Andrew Brandner, Matthew Purcell, and Jaymason Mitchener.
