Debra A. Graber

Oct 13, 1959 — Jun 26, 2026

Debra Adelia Graber, 66, of Castle Rock Township, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 26, 2026. Born on October 13, 1959 to Marvin and Beverly Lau, Deb grew up in Farmington, MN and later her family moved to Cannon Falls, MN where she graduated high school in 1978. Deb began working at White Rock Bank/First Farmers & Merchants in Cannon Falls right after high school through retirement in 2022. She married the love of her life, Donald Graber, on November 3, 1979 and resided in their hometown of Cannon Falls where they grew their family. Deb always will be the beloved mother of Krystle, Angela and Michael and truly thought the whole world of them.

Being a mother was one of Deb's greatest blessings. She spent hours running her children from dance, hockey, track, motocross racing and every other adventure the kids had, and loved every moment of it. She was always their biggest cheerleader and never missed the opportunity to support them from the stands. Along with her children, she had a love for camping and being at the lake. She spent many weekends with family and friends sitting around a bonfire sharing laughter and a good story. In 2001, the family moved to Castle Rock Township where Deb was the "bonus mom" to many of her children's friends. She always made everyone feel welcome and comfortable in her home and was never afraid to share her contagious smile. Deb always cared for everyone else before herself and always had a smile on her face. Her famous saying was "we will figure it out", no problem was too big for her.

Deb was an amazing mother, but more than that she was the ultimate grandmother. She loved her grandchildren more than anything in the world. She never said "no" to driving someone to practice, a messy art project, dancing to music, or playing outside. Being their biggest fan was one of Deb's greatest blessings and she was sure her presence was loud and proud on the sideline. Deb made sure she made everything "even" between the grandkids whether it was the number of games she attended or how many gifts they received, and she never turned down a chance to chat on the phone. Her grandchildren loved her very much and truly lit up when they saw her.

In the past decade one of Deb's greatest pastimes was traveling. Whether it was to Florida to sit in the sunshine on the beach or a long road trip in the motorhome with Don, she was always up for an adventure. She loved to be at the lake fishing for sunnies, watching all of the kids play in the water and cruising on the boat. Deb also enjoyed long drives in Don's old cars and participating in many car shows through the years. No matter if it was a trip far away or just down the road, she was always smiling when she was with family and friends.

Deb is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Don; her children, Krystle (Jonathan) Eilen, Angela (Mitchell) Althoff, and Michael (Alexis) Graber; her grandchildren, Jackson, Jordan, Kelby, Adelia, Madelyn, Eli, Londyn, and Kashton; her mother, Beverly Lau; her siblings Linda (Bill) Craigie, Robert (Darcy) Lau, and Dennis (Cindy) Lau; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Marvin Lau; father-in-law, Lawrence Graber; and mother-in-law, MaryAnn Graber.
