Hazel then worked for years at Sears in Cannon Falls. She later was a bookkeeper at Cenex, until they both retired. Hazel was an active member of St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church, and of the Cannon Falls Hospital Auxiliary. She entered her baked goods and crocheted items in the Cannon Valley Fair each year. She was a MaryKay consultant for 20 years, and was an avid sports fan, including MN Twins baseball and football. Hazel and Norman enjoyed camping, dancing, and traveling together. She missed him greatly upon his death on May 20, 2007. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Lyle Ringeisen; and sisters, Viola Cordes and Mildred Fifield. She is survived by her children, Penny Fredrickson of Eagan and Robert (Joni) Fredrickson of Farmington; grandchildren, Christopher (Laurie) Nelson, Candice Nelson, Matthew and Michael Fredrickson; great-grandsons, Jeremy and Thomas Blake; sister, Dorothy Hoffman of Maplewood; and many nieces and nephews.
