Heather Brummund

Heather A. Brummund Age 47 Of Welch Passed away unexpectedly on March 6, 2016. Heather was born in Red Wing, Minnesota on August 29, 1968 to Karl and Lynda Nelson. She worked in town with her parents before she began working at the Veteran's Hospital in Minneapolis as a patient advocate and coordinator. She graduated in 1986 from Cannon Falls High School, and married Gene Brummund on September 12, 1992. Heather was an avid reader and enjoyed spending the summers, her favorite season, traveling with her husband and kids visiting national parks across the country. She is survived by her loving husband Gene Brummund, her children Alex and Hannah Brummund, her parents Karl and Lynda Nelson, her brother Mike Nelson and his children Carly and Emily, and many nieces, nephews, and more. A visitation will be held at Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls on Friday, March 18, from 4-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Cannon River Lutheran Church on Saturday, March 19, at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior. Light refreshments to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
