James Curtis

James Walter Curtis, age 60 of Zumbro Falls, died unexpectedly at home on Saturday, January 30, 2016. Jim was born on July 2, 1955 in Minneapolis, the son of Walter and Bernice (Exberger) Curtis. He worked as an insurance adjuster for many years, but his passion was the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved golfing. He married Michele "Mickey" Tuttle on April 16, 1977. Together they had three children, Scott of Cannon Falls, Jeffrey of Zimmerman, and Jennifer of Cannon Falls. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; his mother, Bernice Curtis of Austin; and his sister, Nancy Curtis of Austin. He was preceded in death by his father. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 5 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation from 12-1 p.m., at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. Inurnment will follow at the Cannon Falls Cemetery.
