Janice Hischer

Janice L. Hischer, age 68, of Cannon Falls, died Saturday, October 15, 2016 at United Hospital in St. Paul. Janice Lois Hischer was born on November 27, 1947 in Honolulu, Hawaii, the daughter of David and Rosalani (Kamaz) Kaluhiokalani. She grew up in Ewa Beach, Hawaii and graduated from high school there. On February 26, 1972 Janice was united in marriage to Robert Hischer in Hawaii. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Janice was especially fond of horses, having trained them and taught riding. She was passionate about her family and loved spending time with her kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews. Survivors include her husband Robert, sons Davey and Axel, grandchildren Davey Jr. (Ashely), Darren (Savannah), Shelby, Devin, and Robert, great-grandchildren Alexis, Khlayah, Hadlee, Kylee, Guage, Gaberial, and Lane; brother Damian; sister Lucinda; and many nieces and nephews. Janice was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers David, Sonny, Buddy, and Clarence. Blessed be her memory. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
