Jeffry Kim Quiggle of Saint Paul, Minnesota passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026 after a brief battle with cancer.
Born December 17, 1955 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to parents Ralph and Gretchen Quiggle, Jeffry and his family moved soon after to Minneapolis, Minnesota where they settled in the Lake Harriet neighborhood. Jeffry and his three brothers - Scott, Chad, and Jay - grew-up in the family home on Freemont Avenue, where they were affectionately known as the Quiggle Boys, taking advantage of the local lake park amenities and various seasonal activities available for kids.
As a young person, Jeffry was an avid reader and tested as a genius, graduating with honors from Washburn High School. He enjoyed working for the Minneapolis Public Library and attended the University of Minnesota where he explored further his interest in the liberal arts.
Jeffry also enjoyed classical ballet and for several years he was an active member of the Minnesota Dance Theatre, where he performed frequently in the annual production of The Nutcracker Suite.
In adulthood, Jeffry became increasingly challenged with everyday life due to his mental health complications. However, he managed to live independently in Saint Paul, Minnesota and found solace through his Buddhist practice. Throughout his life he always maintained an open, friendly personality and a strong interest in current events. In later years he enjoyed such activities as exploring the city, going to the movies, and continued his involvement with the local Soka Gakkai International Buddhist Community.
Jeffry is survived by his brothers Scott, Chad, and Jay; he was preceded in death by his parents Ralph and Gretchen Quiggle.
