Judith "Judy" Ann Forsman, age 81, of Cannon Falls, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Cannon Rivers Senior Living after a long battle with Huntington's Disease.
Judy was born on September 12, 1944 in Winnebago, Minnesota, the daughter of Lester and Anna (Prochniak) Mills. Judy married Dallas L. Forsman on August 27, 1960 at St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church in Cannon Fallls, and to this union four children were born.
Judy attended Cannon Falls High School, later earning her GED. After high school, she attended Red Wing Area Vo-Tech and earned her Licensed Practical Nurse Certificate in 1981. Judy then went on to study at Minneapolis Community College, receiving surgical training to be an operating room scrub technician. Judy worked at the Cannon Falls Hospital as an LPN, surgical tech, and then worked in materials management. Judy worked at the hospital until 1992.
She was a member of St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church and a charter member of the Mrs. Jaycees. Judy loved spending time with her family, and especially enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Tyrone, Richard, and Scott Mills; and sister, Mary Ellen Mills.
Judy is survived by her husband, Dallas of Cannon Falls; children, Wendy Jo Forsman of Ellsworth, WI, Shane Forsman of Randolph, Jody Forsman (Jill Jablonski) of Delray Beach, FL, and Jacinta (Dale) Reynolds of Bay City, WI; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren plus one on the way; along with many nieces, nephews, and their families.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, June 13 at 11:00 am, with visitation from 10-11 am, at St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church. This service will be livestreamed and available to watch below.
A private family interment service will be at the Cannon Falls Cemetery.
Memorials may be given in Judy's name to the donor's choice.
