Kyle A. Milhaupt

Kyle Arthur Milhaupt, age 40 of Cannon Falls, died on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 in Saint Paul.

Kyle was born on June 10, 1983 in Hastings and was raised in Cannon Falls since 14 months of age.

Kyle had a creative mind and enjoyed creating drawings and tattoos. He was a licensed tattoo artist and worked at A+ Tattoo in Hastings, among other shops. He also loved tinkering with electronics, riding 4-wheelers, motorcycles, and bicycles, and fishing. He was a storyteller and could weave a good story about past adventures. He was a jokester and could make anyone laugh! Kyle had also become an ordained minister, helping with wedding ceremonies. Above all, he was a mental health advocate and would help anyone like him that needed assistance.

He is survived by his parents, Andrea and Jim Gesme of Cannon Falls, brother, Keri Gesme of Cannon Falls, and sister, Kali (Kyle) Beissel of Wanamingo; niece and nephews, Sommer and Hunter Gesme, and Waylon Beissel; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also leaves behind a brotherhood of many life-long connections.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruth Jorstad and Bud and Rose Gesme.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 2-5 pm at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls.
