LaReine Berg

LaReine Ann (nee Watrous) Terry Berg, age 78 of Cannon Falls, died on Monday morning, November 9, 2015 at Mayo Health Systems – Methodist Hospital in Rochester. LaReine Ann Watrous was born in International Falls, MN on August 31, 1937, the daughter of Leon R. and Lila Belle (Stephenson) Watrous. She graduated from Falls Senior High School, and married Melvin "Mickey" Terry on June 9, 1956 in International Falls. She was a homemaker and wonderful mother to two daughters. Melvin died on November 24, 1992. LaReine married Thomas L. Berg on August 22, 1997 in Las Vegas, NV. She enjoyed painting, crafts, gardening, and watching movies. She will be remembered for her love of family, and her enjoyment in being a homemaker. LaReine is survived by her husband of 18 years, Tom of Cannon Falls; daughters, Charlene Terry of Northfield and Margaret "Marge" Terry of International Falls; step children, Karen Berg and Kevin Berg, both of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Chris Joslyn, Andrew (Melissa) Joslyn, Kirsten Henrichs, Michael Henrichs, and Cory Henrichs; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ashton, and Bentley; and nephews, Craig Forster and Brad Forster. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Melvin Terry; sister, Lila Leone Smith; and nephew, Terry Forster. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 12 from 5-7 p.m. at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. Funeral service will be held on Friday, Nov. 13 at 2:00 p.m., with visitation from 1-2 p.m., at Spring Garden Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at the Cannon Falls Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andrew and Chris Joslyn, Michael and Cory Henrichs, Morgan Rapp, and John Klitzke.
