Linda Anne Johnson (she preferred to be known as "Lin"), age 72 of Cannon Falls, passed peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 9, 2023.
Lin was born the oldest child of 14 to Walter and Margaret (Stanger) Gabrelcik on April 23, 1951 in Watkins, MN. She graduated from Eden Valley-Watkins High School in 1969.

One of their first of many adventures was to the Boundary Waters, and after that trip, they knew they were meant for each other. They married on October 3, 1970 in Watkins. They resided in Brooklyn Center until moving to Cannon Falls in 1982. They found the perfect place to raise their family. Linda was the Nelson Scofield VFW Post manager from 1982-2013, when she retired.
Lin loved the outdoors, fishing, bird and deer watching, and traveling with Benny. She enjoyed painting on canvas and ceramics, and was known for her soup and chili making expertise! She even rode her bike across the state of Minnesota. For the past 7 years, they have wintered in Niland, CA at the Fountain of Youth.
