Louise Taylor Morgan, age 92, died on Sunday evening, August 31, 2008 at the Angels Care Center in Cannon Falls, MN.
Louise was born June 8, 1916, the daughter of Isabella (Hall) and William Taylor, Sr. in Lakewood, Ohio. She attended school in Lakewood and was a 1934 graduate of Lakewood High School. She attended the University of Michigan and graduated in 1939 with a B.S. degree in Sociology. She was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority during this time. She would marry George Morgan on March 17, 1945 in Hampton, VA. They would reside in Lakewood until George’s relocation to Duluth, MN. She would remain in Duluth until moving to the Cannon Falls area in 2001. Louise was a member of the Newcomers group and First United Methodist Church, both in Duluth. She loved to bowl, golf and was an avid quilter and bridge player. She belonged to several bridge clubs.
Louise is lovingly survived by her children, George (Sherry Robinson) of Ashtabula, OH, Jean (Jon) Pavola of Rosemount, MN and Robert (Teresa) of Lakeville, MN. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Rick, Greg, Jesse, Morgan and Makayla.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband George in 1996; and 2 brothers, Harry Taylor and William Taylor, Jr.
