Mangil Dierke

Mangil William "M.W." Dierke, age 100, of Cannon Falls died Saturday afternoon April 18, 2015 at Kenyon Sunset Home in Kenyon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harris and Minnie; wife, Hazel; brothers, Carl and Walden; and sister, Bernice. Survived by sons Gary, Wayne, John (Laura), Everett "Butch"; 5 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; many nieces & nephews. Mangil was born November 21, 1914 in Dakota County. He attended school in Hampton Township. M.W. was a farmer for seventy years. He volunteered at Zion Cemetery and St. Ansgar's Church for many years. M.W. enjoyed hunting, fishing, visiting family and friends, and playing cards. Funeral Service 11 AM Wednesday at St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls with Visitation 10-11 AM. Burial Zion Cemetery.
