Mary Flom

Mary Ann Flom, age 64 of Dennison, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker, died peacefully at home on Sunday, August 28, 2016. Mary Ann was born on August 8, 1952 in Eau Claire, WI, the daughter of Albert N. and Myrtle M. (Brown) Froseth. She graduated from Farmington High School in 1970. She married Leroy Fischer and they had four children together. They later divorced. She married Evan L. Flom on May 11, 1991 at Urland Lutheran Church. Mary enjoyed quilting, canning, baking, and sewing. She and Evan sold their wares at the Dennison Farmer's Market and craft shows in the area. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Evan; children, Angela (David) Gunderson of Nerstrand and sons Dustin and Alexander, Dale Fischer of St. Cloud, Jeremy Fischer (Melissa Fredrickson) of Dundas and daughter Cortney, and Sara Fischer (Mark Weatherford) of Dennison and daughter Chantel; mother, Myrtle Green of Menomonie, WI; siblings, Karen (Dale) Easterson and Linda (Edward) Risler, all of WI, Kathy Frey of Hastings, Lori (Pat) Jay of Farmington, and Bill Green of Menomonie, WI; and nieces and nephews. She is also survived by mother-in-law, Doris Flom of Dennison, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Julie (Gary) Warner of Annandale, Pam (Steve) Tralle of Nerstrand, Kathy (Daryl) Bergs of Hutchinson, and Eric (Melanie) Flom of Dennison, and their families. She was preceded in death by father, Albert; step father, Orrin Green; paternal grandparents, Bessy and Carl Froseth; and maternal grandparents, Violet and Richard Brown. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 9 from 5-8 p.m. at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. A brief service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date at Rock Creek Cemetery in Rock Falls, WI.
