Nancy J. Sebo

Nancy Sebo, age 86, of Cannon Falls, died Monday, March 9, 2020 at the Augustana Health Care Center in Hastings.

Nancy Janet Sebo was born on February 5, 1934, in Minneapolis, the daughter of John and Evangeline (Romberg) List. She grew up and graduated from Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis. In 1955, Nancy graduated from Gustavus Adolphus with a degree in Music and English. On June 6, 1956, she was united in marriage to Kenneth W. Sebo in Minneapolis. They made their home in Madelia where Nancy taught music. In 1966 they moved to Plymouth, and in 1973 came to Cannon Falls. Nancy was a member of First English Lutheran Church since 1974. She became the church organist there in 1976, a position she held for thirty years. In addition to music Nancy enjoyed plants and gardening.

Survivors include her sons William and Michael Sebo, and grandchildren Kyle and Ryan. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ken.

Memorials are preferred to First English Lutheran Church.

Memorial services will be on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 2:00 pm at First English Lutheran Church, 511 W. Belle St, Cannon Falls, MN 55009. There will be a visitation at the church from 1-2:00 pm, prior to the memorial service. Lundberg Funeral Home of Cannon Falls is assisting Nancy’s family.
