Patricia "Patti" Klein

Patricia Ann "Patti" Klein, age 67 of Cannon Falls, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026 at Mayo Clinic Hospital - St. Mary's Campus in Rochester.

Patti was born on November 15, 1958 in Zumbrota. She graduated from Cannon Falls High School in 1977. After high school, she went to work at Princess Toys in Cannon Falls. After they closed, she went to work at Gemini in Cannon Falls, retiring after 30+ years.

She married Fred Klein in October, 1982. He died on June 17, 2025.

Patti enjoyed thrifting and driving around making day trips into adventures, She would often times reach out to friends and family asking if they needed or wanted anything while she was thrifting. If they did, she would make it her mission to find what they were asking for. Most of the time she did find what they were looking for, even if that meant an extra trip to two.

In later years her favorite place was spending time in her sister's backyard. While there, she would work a little and rest a little. She enjoyed filling the bird feeders and watch the birds and wildlife eat and drink from the fountain.

What brought her the most joy was her family and friends. She had the ability to make friends who quickly became family. When she had received her diagnosis, she promptly went into action and had key chains made to rally those around her to become part of her team. They stated "Eviction notice... Evil out!"

She was preceded in death by her parents, Irving and JoAnn (Hadler) Robinson; and her husband, Fred.

She is survived by siblings, Sandi Robinson (Tim Hemmelman) and Kevin (Wendy) Robinson; niece, Alana (Evan) Heather and nephews, Derek Robinson (Sarah Erickson) and David Hemmelman; great-nephew Eli Heather and great-niece Willow Ann Heather; aunts, uncles and several cousins, as well as many friends she considered family.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 10 at 2 pm, with visitation from 1- 2 pm, at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. This service will be live-streamed and available to watch below. Interment will be held at a later date at the Zumbrota Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to donor's choice.
