Ralph E. Tyrrell age 91, of Cannon Falls, died on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at The Oaks (formerly The View) in Cannon Falls.
Ralph Edward Tyrrell was born on December 12, 1928 in Blue Earth County, the son of Howard and Anna Belle (Soule) Tyrrell. He graduated from Cannon Falls High School in 1946. Following graduation, Ralph joined the US Army. After his service in the army he continued to work as a civilian for the US Military as a supply purchaser. He has lived in various locations throughout the world. Ralph spent the majority of his years living in California where he enjoyed the High Desert surroundings and warm weather. Ralph loved to cook, bake and entertain while spending time with his friends. He enjoyed his trips home to MN to spend time with his family. Ralph recently moved back home to MN. Ralph will be laid to rest in the rose garden at Victor Valley Memorial in California.
Survivors include his sisters Bonnie (Harvey) Erlandson, MaryAnn (Donald) Banks, and Betty Woodward; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Howard Tyrrell, Mother Anna Belle Johnson, stepfather Ted Johnson, and sister Francis Lorenson.
A family memorial service will be held at a future date. Lundberg Funeral Home of Cannon Falls is assisting the family.
