Ray Rademacher

Ramon Orvin "Ray" Rademacher, age 85 of Maplewood, died on Thursday morning, February 26, 2026 at Woodbury Senior Living in Woodbury.

Ramon, also known as Ray, was born on July 15, 1940 in St. Paul, the son of Charles and Florence (King) Rademacher. He grew up in St. Paul and Cottage Grove, where he attended special needs Sunday School and was in a special needs Boy Scout Troup.

Ray loved life! He was a huge MN Twins fan, enjoyed fishing, and eating out at Culvers. He loved reading, especially the Bible, and enjoyed his many trips to Barnes and Noble. He really enjoyed his time working at the Children's Museum in St. Paul and attending the Kaposia adult day program.

He is survived by his brother, Charles (Maxine) Rademacher of Cannon Falls and their family, Karl (Amy) of Bloomington, IL, Tom (Bobbi) of Mahtomedi, and Paul of St. Paul; and other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.Ray was preceded in death by his parents and step brother, Joe Allen.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7 at 2:00 pm, with visitation from 1-2 pm, at Lundberg Funeral Home, Cannon Falls. This service will be live-streamed and available to watch below.  In honor of Ray, please wear your favorite MN Twins apparel.

Interment will be held at a later date at Union Cemetery, St. Paul.
