Robert Tuve

Robert Lawrence Tuve, age 68 of Goodhue, died at his home on Sunday morning, January 15, 2017. He is the husband of Deb Schuette. Robert was born on April 13, 1948 in Red Wing, the son of Lawrence and Verna (Hulbert) Tuve. He graduated from Zumbrota High School in 1966 and went to serve with the US Army National Guard for many years. He was employed at Maple Island, Cannon Equipment, and the last 7 years he milked cows for Robert Hinsch. He married Deborah Schuette on June 2, 2000 in Alma, WI. He enjoyed woodworking and tinkering with lawn mowers. Together, he and Deb enjoyed playing pool and going for rides through the countryside. He was a member of Dale Lutheran Church in rural Kenyon. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Deborah Schuette of Goodhue; brother, Bruce of Rochester; sister, Barb of Florida; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, LuAnn Franklin of Cannon Falls, Vernon Schuette of Goodhue, and Gordon (Kathy) Schuette of Farmington, Bonnie Gillispie, Kent Schuette, and Rita Hudson; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. Memorials are preferred to Paralyzed Veterans of America.
