Ruth Childs

Ruth M. Childs Age 93, of Circle Pines Loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Passed away April 1, 2016 at the age of 93. Ruth graduated from the University of Wisconsin nursing program in 1947. She was an active duty Navy nurse from 1950 to 1953, when she was discharged. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Cliff; children, Rich Childs, Mark (Karen) Childs; son-in-law, Gary (Linda) Weigman; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy. Services are private. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Heartland Hospice.
