Sean Fleming

Sean Everett Fleming, age 35 of Cannon Falls, died on Friday evening, February 26, 2016 at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Minneapolis. Sean was born on December 14, 1980 in Saint Paul, MN, the son of Lou and Pamela (Madison) Fleming. He graduated from Randolph High School in 1999, and went on to attend St. Olaf College. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2003, and was a proud alumni (UM YAH YAH!). He was employed with Treasure Island Resort & Casino as cage manager and financial analyst from 1999-2015. Sean married Rebecca "Becca" Raisanen on September 30, 2006 in St. Cloud. He was a family man, and his greatest joy in life was being a dad to their daughter, Julia. He was a wonderful provider and always made sure his family had everything they needed. He enjoyed working, had a great analytical mind and worked best with many irons in the fire. As a loving, gentle person, he had many good friends who appreciated his dry sense of humor. He enjoyed the simple pleasures; watching football and hockey, playing video games, spending time with his family, watching movies, and drinking his ginger ale. He will be forever missed by his wife, Becca and daughter, Julia; his parents, Lou and Pam Fleming of Cannon Falls; sisters, Kristen Fleming (Mike Henke) of Cannon Falls, Kelley (Mike) Miller of Carlisle, IA, and DonRenee Fleming of Des Moines, IA; nieces and nephews, Mallory, Kaleb, Maesyn, and Reed; and aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by brother, Nicholas Fleming; and grandparents, Delores Madison, Lou and Margaret Fleming. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3 from 5-8 p.m. at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 4 at 11 a.m., with visitation from 10-11 a.m. at St. Ansgar's Lutheran Church in Cannon Falls. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Madison, Clint Krueger, and Tyler Stenseng. Memorials are preferred to the family.
