Shirley was born at home on June 24, 1933 in Cottage Grove, MN, the daughter of Fred C. and Cora D. After raising her children, she worked as a teacher’s aide at the Cannon Falls Schools, as well as the Hi-Quality Bakery. She loved cooking, gardening, playing cards, dancing and spending time with her family. She will be fondly remembered for her love and devotion to her husband and family.

Shirley was a beloved mother of eight children, Jeanette (Tom) Pries of Eyota, Kenneth Rohr of Cannon Falls, Marion Gergen of Franksville, WI, Ronald (Chris) Rohr and Maureen (Charlie) Sabrowsky, all of Cannon Falls, Dolores (Andy) Kornkven of Northfield, Donna (John) Lindahl of Cannon Falls, and Gordon (Teri) Rohr of Lake City; 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Viola Miller of Roberts, WI, Mary Jean Engstrom, Carol Rohr, and Mary Agnes Rohr, all of Hastings; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald on December 21, 2009; her infant twin sister Charlotte Miller, and sister Lucille Zimmerman; and two brothers, Stanley and Wallace Miller.
