Steven Frank Pressnall, age 68, of Randolph, MN, passed peacefully on April 6, 2021 with his wife, Debra and his son, Brandon by his side.
Steve spent most of his entire life in the Randolph area, enjoying a life rich with friendships. He had wonderful memories of attending Randolph schools and participating in high school athletic events and marching band performances. After graduating from Randolph High School, Steve forged new friendships while obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree at Minnesota State University, Mankato, in 1975.
For 20 years, Steve worked in agriculture as a custom applicator for the local co-op. Steve also did handyman construction, helping people with small home-remodeling projects. He went on to work for WALCO, USA as the manager of the short-line distribution warehouse in Randolph for 10 years.
Steve’s personal interests were varied. During his young adult years, Steve played with other Randolph High School grads on slow-pitched softball teams: the Kerr-Mcgee Team, summers of 1973 and ’74, and the Munson Implement Team, the 1975–77 seasons. Another highlight for Steve was the opportunity to coach Randolph School teams, first coaching the Junior High Boys Basketball 1990 and ’91 Teams and then later the Junior Varsity Girls 1998 and 1999 Teams. Steve enjoyed his role as charter president of the Randolph Lions Club. His interests also included playing golf, catching panfish, reading historical books, and puttering with small projects. His walk with Jesus was especially important to him and he was grateful for the Lord’s blessings in his life.
Steve grew up in a loving family in Randolph and is preceded in death by his parents, Archie Ralph Pressnall, Jr. and Marion Rosetta Ohs Pressnall. He leaves behind a legacy of his love for his wife, Debra and son, Brandon. He is also lovingly survived by his brother, Ben (Kathy) Pressnall; nieces Molly (Glen) Glover and Katie (Jim) Thrun; and nephew Paul (Amy) Pressnall. Steve cherished his relationships with extended family members through the love of his life, Deb; cousins; and many close friends as well.
