In loving memory of Tayven Matthew Geiger
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Tayven, an amazing and beloved young man from Cannon Falls, Minnesota. Tayven tragically lost his life on November 29, 2023, in a car accident. Tayven was born on May 12, 2006, in Rochester, MN. He was 17 years old.
Tayven’s parents, Nick and Mari, are devastated by the unimaginable loss of their precious son. Their grief is shared by all who had the pleasure of knowing Tayven, as he leaves behind a void that cannot be filled.
Tayven’s love for the great outdoors was always seen, whether it was duck hunting or deer hunting. But most of all, Tayven’s passion was being with friends, whether it be scouting for birds, being on the water, or being in the fields. He held his loved ones and friends close to his heart and cherished every moment spent with them. Tayven’s loyalty and devotion to his family and friends were truly remarkable. His infectious smile, his eyes, and personality made him a joy to be around and he effortlessly formed connections with everyone he met.
In addition to his love for the outdoors and his cherished relationships, Tayven was also a star baseball player and played for many different teams and organizations. His team in Randolph, MN, won the state championship in 2022, a testament to his dedication and skill. Tayven’s passion for the game was evident in his every move on the field, and his teammates admired him for his unwavering commitment and team spirit.
Tayven was a bright young man with a kind and compassionate spirit. His ability to get along with people from all walks of life was a testament to his genuine nature and empathetic soul. He always had a way of making others feel seen and valued. Leaving a lasting impact on their lives.
In this time of profound sadness, let us remember Tayven for the incredible person he was, spending time with family and friends, and living life to the fullest, just as Tayven did.
Tayven is survived by his parents Nick and Mari, maternal grandparents Orlin and Nancy Friedrich, aunt Megan (Matthew) Daigle, uncle Mark (Cam) Friedrich, cousins Sophie, Madison, and George Daigle; Matthew Knox, and Kathryn Friedrich, and great-grandmother Elaine Friedrich. Tayven was preceded in death by his grandmother Louise Geiger, his uncle Matthew Friedrich, and his unborn brothers.
Tayven Geiger, you will forever remain in our hearts.
Visitation will be Monday, December 4, 2023 from 3:00 - 7:00 pm, at the Grand O2 Event Center, 32057 64th Ave, Cannon Falls, MN 55009. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 11:00 am, also at the Grand O2 Event Center, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Tayven's service will be live streamed and may be viewed by clicking the link below.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Tayven Geiger Memorial Fund, at Castle Rock Bank. Donations can be deposited at any Castle Rock Bank location, or may be mailed directly to:
