Timothy Breuer

August 10, 1970 — July 19, 2008

Timothy Wayne Breuer, age 37, a lifelong resident of Goodhue, died unexpectedly from a brain aneurysm at home on Saturday, July 19, 2008.

Tim was born on August 10, 1970 in Red Wing, the son of Arnold and Linda (Buck) Breuer.  He attended school in Goodhue, where he was active in football and wrestling.  He graduated in 1989, and went on to Rochester CC for his Associate of Arts Degree.

He married Susan Kempner on May 22, 1993 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Wanamingo.  To this union, they had five amazing sons.

He was a devoted and compassionate husband, dad, son and friend to many.  He loved partnering with his dad in cash crop farming.  He ran his truck many hours in the summer to haul vegetables for Seneca of Rochester.  His hobbies were spending time with his wife and sons having bon fires in the back yard, gardening, camping, mussel load hunting, volleyball with his wife and friends, and lots of odds and ends jobs of fixing whatever needed attention when he had time.  He always had a great, and most likely humorous, comment and conversation for all with his laid back personality.  He was a man who was passionate about natural healing for those who were ill.  His faith was great in the Lord.  His love for his wife and sons was beyond words.  He always sacrificed his needs for his family.  He is known as the "#1 Dad" by his boys.  He is now in heaven walking with Jesus while carrying his son, Bryce, on his shoulders.  The embrace between father and son has been pictured to be glorious.

He will be lovingly missed by his wife of 15 years, Susie of Goodhue; his sons, Mitchell, Logan, Joel and Ethan; parents, Arnie and Linda Breuer of Goodhue; sisters, Michelle Breuer (Ryan Holm) of Goodhue and Amanda Breuer of Minneapolis; grandparents, Marcy Buck and Anna Marie Voth, both of Goodhue; parents-in-law, Ann Kempner (Emmett Kindschy) of Wanamingo, and Peter and Cathy Kempner of Bemidji; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Brad Kempner (Debbie Michaud) of Zumbrota, Pamela Greseth of Red Wing, Julie Miland (John Ecker) of Cannon Falls, Geoffrey Kempner of Houston, TX, Christopher (Gloria) Kempner of Kapolei, Hawaii, Philip Kempner of Wanamingo, Amanda (John) Hardy of Winona and Mina (Aaron) Lewis of Winona; nephews and nieces, Carson Morken, Hayden Bryce Holm, Heather and Kameron Kempner, Tony, Nick and Kelli Greseth, Jordan and Collin Miland, Reginald Windom, Trachell and Sean Kempner, Madison Fritsch, William Hardy and Grant Lewis; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Bryce on February 22, 2007; grandparents, Murland "Murphy" Buck, Frederick "Fritz" Breuer, and Marvin Voth.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Goodhue, with Pastor Michael Gustafson officiating.  Interment will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 4-8 p.m., and Friday from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Active pallbearers will be Brad, Geoffrey, Christopher and Philip Kempner, John Hardy, Aaron Lewis, Ryan Holm, Curt Miland and John Ecker.  Honorary pallbearers will be Tom Voth, Brent Voth, Dave Miller, Dan Tipcke, Jake O’Reilly, Chris Hinck, Travis Huemann and Jerry Tipcke.

In lieu of flowers, Susie has requested memorials be given in Tim’s memory for their sons’ future educations.
