Warren G. Formo

Warren Formo, 64, of Cannon Falls, MN died peacefully in his sleep on August 29, 2026. He was born September 21, 1961 in Granite Falls, Minnesota, to Clayton and Shirley Formo.

Warren embodied all the qualities a good man ought to: a follower of Christ, a loving husband and father, hardworking, trustworthy, and a man of integrity. He had a quick wit and was never afraid of a battle worth fighting.

He married Karen Rozeboom in 1983 and together they built a life rooted in faith and family. Through every storm life brought their way, Warren remained steady and unwavering in his loyalty and commitment to Karen and their children. Warren could often be found tending to his chickens, serving alongside Karen at church events, cheering on the sidelines of his grandkids' events, and advocating for farmers. He spent over 30 years serving Minnesota through various organizations, most notably serving for the last 20 years as Executive Director of the Minnesota Agricultural Water Resource Center.

Warren is survived by his beloved wife, Karen; his son Reid, his wife Stephanie, and their three children, Kaitlyn, Andrew, and Caleb; his son Ethan, his wife Angie, and their four children, Emmett, Colin, Tilly, and Sonja; his daughter Audrey, her husband Matt, and their children, Ryan, Carson, and Maddie; his son Wade; and his mother Shirley. 

John 11:25-26 Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die."

The family will host a memorial service at Riverwood Community Church in Cannon Falls on Friday, September 11 at 11:00 am.
