Passed on peacefully to be with our Lord and Saviour.
Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather

He was preceded in death by son, Thomas Allen on May 6, 1978; sister, Mary Jane (Gerald) Schweich; and brother, Edward Gergen.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dolores; sons, William (Julie), Stephen (Vikki), Gregory, Joel (Mary), Donald (Chris) & Alan (Elizabeth); daughters, Marion (Cary) Millard, Linda, Carolyn & Constance (Gary) Sjoquist; 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Frances (Irvin) Karnick and Geraldine (Ed) Plucinski; brother, Paul (Shirley) Gergen; and sister-in-law, Jacqualyn Gergen.

Bill was born at home and lived his entire life on the family farm in Randolph. He graduated from Randolph High School in 1942.
He married Dolores Elizabeth Ross on June 1, 1950 at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in St. Paul.
He was a prominent livestock producer and longtime grower for Green Giant. He will be remembered for roller skating, love of polka music and dancing. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol during WWII.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 19 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mathias Catholic Church in Hampton, with Father Jay Kythe celebrating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-8 pm at Lundberg Funeral Home in Cannon Falls.
Pallbearers will be his sons, William, Stephen, Gregory, Joel, Donald and Alan Gergen.
Memorials may be sent to the building fund at St. Mathias Catholic Church in Hampton.
