Carter Michael Nicolai, a 9 year old 3rd grader from Randolph, MN was born in Northfield, MN on July 4th, 2010 and passed away on April 21st, 2020 following an ATV accident.
Carter was known by all of his friends and family as the child who loved farming, John Deere, driving anything that could be driven and was the life of the party. He always had something funny or smart to say and knew everything about tractors and farming. All you had to do was ask him!
He lived a full life in his short 9 years. Through the ups and downs of his battle with Aplastic Anemia with long hospital stays, he was a trooper. From baby to toddler to teenager to adult with truly an old soul. Carter loved country music especially the greats and knew every word to all with Laurel & Hardy as his favorite show.
He will be missed beyond measure and was loved and adored more than words could ever say.
Carter was preceded in death by Great Grandparents Winchell, Nicolai, Spillman and Tix.
He is survived by his parents, Brian and Sandra Nicolai, brothers, Kaden and Mason Schafer and sister Ellyana, grandparents, Randy and Teri Nicolai and Roland and Dorothy Spillman, aunts and uncles, Pauline and Joe May (cousins Coral, Bailey and Carly Ozmun), Jan and Todd VanWatermeulen (cousins Nick and Abby), Caryn & Dave Riley (cousins Reagan and Keegan), Josh and Ashlee Nicolai (cousins Ava & Levi), Kent and Holly Nicolai (cousin Taylor) and many friends and family.
