Norma Johnson

Norma Johnson, age 72, of Cannon Falls, died Friday, December 21, 2018 at her home, surrounded by family and friends.

Norma Jean Johnson was born on June 22, 1946 in Hastings, the daughter of Harry and Charlotte (DeMars) Dalaska. She grew up in the Randolph area and graduated from Randolph High School. In 1977 Norma was married to Earl Johnson in South Dakota. They have lived in Cannon Falls many years. Norma was a member of St. Ansgar’s Lutheran Church. She worked at various jobs through the years including as a beautician at Tiffany’s. She enjoyed shopping, visiting with friends at the VFW, doing crosswords, puzzles and all sports. Whether it was cheering for her own children and grandchildren’s teams or following all of the Minnesota teams, Norma loved it all.

Survivors include her husband Earl, children Darcy (Philip) Meyers, Kellee (Jeff) Johnson, Randy Johnson, and Angie (Brian) McCullagh; grandchildren Madelyn, Jacob, Conor (Lizzy), Derek, Ian(Corrine) Ellie, and Orla; great-grandchildren  Jocelyn, and Astrid; sister Judy (Lou) Giefer; nieces and nephews. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, sister Margaret, and brother Roger.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 4-7:00 pm at Lundberg Funeral Home, 5839 Hwy 19 Blvd, Cannon Falls, MN  55009. The funeral will be on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 11:00 am, at St. Ansgar’s Lutheran Church 7459 Hwy 19 Blvd., Cannon Falls, MN  55009. There will also be a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Interment will be in the Cannon Falls Cemetery
